Lower Winsford is a lovely house and home offering quality Bed and Breakfast. We pay great attention to detail to ensure our guests are comfortable and fully enjoy their stay here.
There is a quiet elegant guest sitting room with a wood burning stove which is lit when chilly. Guests are also welcome to sit in the garden if they wish; perhaps enjoying a nice cup of tea.
Breakfast:
Breakfast is served in the dining room between 7.30am and 9.00am. A choice of fresh fruits and cereals are on offer plus a traditional English breakfast which is cooked to order.
A continental breakfast is also on offer to those who may choose to have breakfast in their rooms. This must be ordered the night before. Dietary needs are catered for with prior notice.
Eating out:
We have a good choice of pubs and restaurants around us. Within easy walking distance is our local hostelry the ‘Thatched Inn’ built in the 15th century situated in Abbotsham village. It offers good pub food in a friendly atmosphere and sells some really good local ales.
Fire Safety:
We comply with Fire Safety Regulations.
Non Smoking:
We are strictly a non smoking establishment, but guests are welcome to smoke in the garden.
Children & Pets:
Children over the age of five are welcome, but we are afraid we do not have facilities for babies or toddlers.
Unfortunately Mac and Mabel the resident cats are not happy sharing their home with other animals, and are not allowed into guest rooms.
Parking:
There is plenty of safe off road parking.
